Pretty uneventful day until the evening.
Andrew got 2 wasp stings - his first - one in the leg and one in the arm. He came screaming inside. It was an incredible scream - you knew he was hurt. I thought he was bleeding. He was able to get out "sting." So I started looking all over his body and I found them quickly. We got him under some cool water and he was all better within 5 minutes. Then he headed outside to play again.
While he was outside, Andrew taught himself to ride a scooter. After he had it down, he called me outside to watch. I didn't even know he had been working on it. He was amazing. The coordination of that boy - he has to be moving at all times.

Did it again!
We all slept in pretty late today - 8 AM. Don't know why but everyone woke up cheery.
We ate breakfast and got right to work on schoolwork. Skylar took the next unit assessment for math as I try to figure out where she should start and she passed easily. It was still shapes and then patterns. She even knew complex patterns. She did some Literature and language skills and then I lost her for some reason. She just refused to come back to the classroom and do schoolwork. A consequence is coming - haven't figured it out yet.
Cairn worked on her History and learned about political maps and finding capitals and landforms on a map. She took her pronoun assessment and passed easily even though she struggled with understanding what a pronoun was - I kinda wonder if it was an act now.
Then Andrew came running in screaming!!
Yep, he bit through his tongue again. He was spinning on the office chair, fell off and bit his tongue. I got ice on it right away and then we made Popsicles for later in the day. He was a trooper. I did call the doctor but since it stopped bleeding fairly quickly they didn't need to see him. I gave him some ibuprofen before bed to help him sleep.
The rest of the day was kinda blah. I was trying to keep Andrew calm and a little slower so his tongue would start healing. The girls were on edge and it just didn't have a good mood for the rest of the day. We ran a quick errand to Girl Scouts and then I let the kids design some boxes.
Cairn designed a car and Skylar created a couch. I didn't get the final products pictures yet.
Tomorrow promises to be super busy. I filled the day with some fun events. I hope I remember the camera.
PS - check yesterday's post - I added some pictures.

| Andrew designed a train, including a steering wheel with a horn, a speedometer and a window. The blue strip is his chugger - you know the thing that makes the wheels turn on the train. |
