Made our own watercolor paint
Skylar and Andrew decided they wanted to paint today but didn't want to paint with the regular paint so I found a recipe to make our own paint.
They mixed the ingredients - baking soda, cornstarch, vinegar, corn syrup and food coloring. I got the recipe from one of my most favorite books - The Ultimate Book of Kid Concoctions.
Finally, it was time to paint.
We only made 2 colors today since we didn't know how they would turn out.
They had a great time and painted several pictures with their 2 colors. They were pretty creative.
