Dad had the day off today and it was such a beautiful day. We did our schoolwork in the morning. It seemed to be a little bit of a struggle but we finally got it all finished at noon so we could head to homeschool roller skate at Skate City.
All 5 of us went to the rink to skate. Andrew and Skylar shared a pusher we found to get their skating legs back. Cairn remembered how to skate and was off skating the whole time. Dad and I shared skating after all 3 of them all afternoon. We had a blast and everyone asked when we get to go again. Next month. I will try to talk some friends into joining us next month.
We stopped by a friend's house to drop off a Christmas present but he was out of town so we headed home to have some lunch - a very late lunch.
The kids played outside until it was time for Skylar's music class. Cairn and Andrew played outside the entire time we were at class. I got home just in time to stop Dad from feeding Andrew dinner before Taekwondo class. Good thing too because Master Matt really works us hard. If you have food in your stomach, you are likely to throw it up.
In Taekwondo, we worked on sparring each other and our kicks. My legs are definitely getting stronger from all the kicks we do in class.
We got home, fed the kids and sent them to bed. What a full full day.
