Today was a slow start to the day but we did eat lunch at the house so that was a good thing.
After we got started, we dropped Uncle Mait off at work and then we headed to Power of Play, an indoor play area.
The kids ran around for a couple hours, playing in this large slide structure and a couple other play structures. They rode bikes around a tire course, played in different themed rooms such as a restaurant, a castle, camping, a hospital, a fire station, a dinosaur room, a grocery store and a dollhouse. We were kicked out at 3 PM for the after school kids which was probably a good thing because the few minutes that we were there with them I witnessed a lot of bullying.
Since we left there earlier than expected we had to find something else to do since it wasn't time to pick up Uncle Mait yet. We drove around for a few and then found this park.
The kids were very excited. They checked each other to make sure they were all dressed for the weather and then headed out.
Pants - check, shirt - check, jacket - check
Andrew found the fireman pole and went down time after time. He even showed a little girl how to do it that was scared to try. She wouldn't try it but I was proud of him for his kindness.
The girls got involved in a game of tag. I caught Cairn up here.
Andrew stopped doing the fireman pole to do the monkey bars.

The girls found a friend and went off to the swings.
As the sun went down, the temperatures dropped and see you the kids leave. We finally had to leave to go pick up Uncle Mait.
When we got home the kids played backgammon with Uncle Mait before he headed out for a Christmas party with Jenny. We ate some dinner, watched a Christmas movie and headed to bed.
Tomorrow the weather promises to be warmer so we will head to Fort Fisher.
