Fair Play Badge

Today, the Brownies got together at the Rec Center to earn their Fair Play Badge.  First, we talked about how to play fairly and how to be good sport whether you win or lose.  I had lots of examples of how to be a bad sport - they giggled.

We played a relay game where the girls had to match up the score with the sport
Football = touchdown
Baseball = homerun
Soccer = goal
Tennis = ace
Rugby = try
Horseshoes = ringer

Then the real fun began, we went to the turf and played octopus tag, popcorn, more relay games and an obstacle course.  All the girls earned the badge and Cairn and another junior received a fun patch for helping out.

We spent 2 hours running around - tons of fun.
